Case overview

On September 22, 2021, an uncontrolled chemical release occurred at Streamline Polymers plant in Channelview, Texas. Hundreds of cars were covered in what is believed to be Methylamine, a highly toxic chemical that is not water soluable. Most if not all vehicles affected by this chemical will be deemed a total loss. Moreoever, this particular chemical is not easily removed, and contact with skin and clothes result in transfer contamination and severe personal injuries. Multiple clients have reported skin irritation, headaches, nose bleeds and other health issues after contact with the released chemical at Streamline Polymers.
